This Woodman would have been incorrect, had I not done a quick check on the facts. The inscription reads:
Father.
Henry Arp.
Dec 2, 1835
Aug 16, 1913
Based on the "Father", one could think that Mr. Arp was a priest. But thanks to Find-a-Grave, I learned that he was a "retired screwman" at the time of his death. (
