Das aus Stein gefertigte Denkmal erinnert an die im Ersten Weltkrieg gefallenen Soldaten aus den Ortsteilen Böhlen, Bahren, Burgberg, Höhnstädt und explizit aus der Wurzener Straße, welche vom Zentrum Grimmas nach Hohnstädt führt.
* Vorderseite des Denkmals: Relief eines sitzenden Mannes mit Dolch und Schild (mit Reichsadler) und den eingravierten Worten "Treue um Treue"

The monument is made of stone. It commemorates the fallen soldiers in World War I from the districts Böhlen, Bahren, Burgberg, Höhnstädt and explicitly from the Wurzener Straße (leading from the center of Grimma to Hohnstädt).
