A placard at the site informs us that this is a plaster cast of the original statue that was on the southeast facade of the 1915 Exposition Building. In 1971 the building was re-named the Casa de Prado. The figure is called "Religion" and depicts a woman in flowing robes. The artist is Henry R. Schmohl and it is dated 1914.
