This sculpture is more abstract than figurative although the suggestion of a bird is apparent. The bird is like no real bird however and its "wings" look more like horns on its back. The creature actually appears to be some type of fish or marine animal than a bird.
The artist is famed Spanish surrealist Joan Miro and it is dated 1967.
