DE: Die Schwarze Madonna von Remagen, die der Bildhauer Adolf Wamper im Frühjahr 1945 während seiner Gefangenschaft im Kriegsgefangenenlager "Goldene Meile" aus Lehm schuf, wird heute in der Katholischen Pfarrkirche "St. Johannes Nepomuk" Kripp ausgestellt. Eine Kopie steht in der Friedenskapelle "Schwarze Madonna" Remagen.
Am 9. Oktober 1987 wurde die Friedenskapelle "Schwarze Madonna" Remagen in Anwesenheit zahlreicher ehemaliger Lagerinsassen eingesegnet. Vier einstige Lager-Insassen trugen bei der Einweihungsfeier die Kopie der Schwarzen Madonna auf ihren Schultern zu ihrem Bestimmungsort in der Kapelle, wo sie seitdem steht.

EN: The Black Madonna of Remagen, the "Golden Mile" of mud created by the sculptor Adolf Wamper in spring 1945 during his imprisonment in a POW camp, is now on display in the Catholic parish church "St. Johannes Nepomuk" Kripp. A copy is in the Chapel of Peace "Black Madonna" Remagen.
On 9 October 1987, the Chapel of Peace "Black Madonna" Remagen was consecrated in the presence of many former camp inmates. Four former camp inmates wore at the inauguration ceremony, the copy of the Black Madonna on their shoulders to their destination in the chapel where she is since then.
