Completed in 2015, the Guardian of the Locks pays homage to the engineering marvels that created the Flight of five locks, spawned several new engineering inventions and gave rise to the Town of Lockport.
The mural is thirty eight feet tall by 62 feet wide, and can be seen clearly from the nearby Erie Canal. It is painted on the side of an old office block, now housing a Jewellers, and is adjacent to a small urban parkette on Main Street in Lockport.
