DIFFERENCES NOTED BETWEEN THE INVENTORY LISTING AND YOUR OBSERVATIONS AND RESEARCH:
There is a brick path to the sculpture and an information sign by it. Text on the plaque: "1835 1910 In memory of Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens) and his wife Olivia Langdon whose home was on this site" It looks more like concrete than granite. The information sign describes Samuel Clemens and Olivia Langdon meeting.
