A professor, university provost, academic dean, lawyer, and theatre education visionary,
Sister Sally Furay was a dedicated advocate for higher education, equality and women's rights social and economic justice, the arts, nursing and much more. She served on boards and committees at many local, national and international organizations including the Old Globe, where she also co-founded The Old Globe/University of San Diego Graduate Theatre Program with Globe Founding Director Craig Noel. Her contributions to the Old Globe are immeasurable and her legacy will forever be remembered and treasured .
