This house was the second of four houses designed by Jewel Bain for her family in Pine Bluff. It was built in 1937 and originally had a white picket fence and a cattle guard to keep the cows out. The exterior of the house has not changed since it was constructed except for the addition of a car port. There is a circular fish pond and a pet cemetery where Jewel buried her dogs on the property. The surrounding area has since developed into an upper-middle-class neighborhood.
The house is located at 3601 S. Cherry and is a private residence.
