Mesto je spojeno s památkou slavné pevkyne Emy Destinnové (visit link) , která prostrednictvím svého prítele zakoupila v roce 1914 (oficiálne se majitelkou stala v roce 1920) zdejší zámek, a žila zde až do své smrti v roce 1930.

Tento historicky velmi vzácný objekt nebyl nikdy prístupný verejnosti. Verejnosti byl zprístupnen 6. kvetna 2006. Na zámku je umístena nejvetší expozice v naší zemi venovaná díle a živote Emy Destinnové .
