Tyler Page was a 20 year old who was killed by a train while walking along tracks near Perth.
His father has set up a bursary in his name at Algonquin College, for those enrolled in the Heritage Masonry program.
The memorial consists of a marker affixed to a stone dais, surrounded by a Scottish Stone fence.
From the college website:
"Awarded to a student(s) in the Masonry – Heritage and Traditional program, in any Perth Campus trades program, and student(s) registered in any additional Perth Campus programs who can demonstrate financial need. The student(s) must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and have completed at minimum, one semester at the Algonquin College Perth Campus and be student(s) representing “generosity of spirit”.
