50° 40,9881‘ nördliche Breite und 8° 18,1923‘ östliche Länge lauten die Geographischen Koordinaten für den neuen Geodätischen Referenzpunkt am Brunnenrand auf dem Herborner Marktplatz. Rechtzeitig zu Beginn des Landesfestes am 20. Mai können sich Hessentags-Besucher, Geocacher, Wanderer oder Wohnmobilfahrer daran orientieren und Ihre Navigationsgeräte oder Smartphones daran ausrichten. Der Referenzpunkt bleibt als siebter in Hessen und vierter des Amts für Bodenmanagement dauerhaft bestehen.
