The neo-gothic stone tower (visit link) with battlements was built in 1825, under sponsorship of the owner of the land, Prince Josef Schwarzenberg. It provides a magnificent view of Novohradské hory, foothills and ridges of the Bohemian Forest, Central Bohemian Downs, Brdy, an edge of Bohemian-Moravian Uplands, and the basins of Trebon and Ceské Budejovice. In nice weather, even alpine peaks of Dachstein or Grossglockner can be seen.
