This is one of the most restrictive tunnels still in use on the canal system today. Very few boats are low enough to get through hence the warnings and measuring boards at the entrance and at the final lock before entering the tunnel pound.
It is one way only and has no towpath.
The measuring devices at the entrance show how the profile of the tunnel changes further in.
