Cotton Boll Motel & its iconic Neon sign stand alongside the Mother Road in Canute. The sign is said to be among the most-photographed along Route 66. 'Canute' another town bypassed by the Interstate, with dire consequences, & now a virtual Ghost Town.
You never know, with the resurgence of Route 66 & its Neon's, someone may decide to refurbish the sign & the Motel. Or will it be sold of to developers like so many other Iconic relics along Route 66.
