James Thompson's headstone is located in beautiful Fairview Cemetery on the east side of Pryor. The cemetery lies at the top of a hill, and has lovely rolling land. The cemetery contains approximately 4650 burials.

This Woodmen of the World marker is a stack of five horizontal logs. The inscription is engraved on a hanging ribbon and reads:
