Tunnel hewn out of sandstone. It is not lined and has a towpath running through it. It is very short and it makes you wonder why a tunnel was built - you would think it would have been easier to cut all the rock away for such a short distance.

Much of the canal in this area runs through pretty sandstone cuttings.
