This tunnel was hewn through sandstone and has a tow path which is unusual but probably becuse sandstone is sof and therefore easier to create a wider tunnel. Cookley village sits atop the tunnel and you can see houses right above you as you enter making you worry that plant pots may fall from their gardens.
