Cette peinture sur roche se trouve sur la rue McKay, à l'extrémité ouest de la Côte-des-Bains, à Rivière-du-Loup. En 1963, quelqu'un du nom de G. Santerre a découvert que cette masse rocheuse avait les formes d'un visage humain, ce qui l'a inspiré à réaliser cette peinture. Depuis, la peiture a été refaite à plusieurs reprises.
Sur le site de "Large Canadian Roadside attractions", cette peinture est connue sous le nom de "Indian Head - Rivière-du-Loup".

This painting on the rock is located on Mackay Street, at the western end of the Côte-des-Bains, Rivière-du-Loup. In 1963, someone named G. Santerre discovered that the rock mass had forms of a human face, which inspired him to realize this painting. Since than, the painting had been repainted several times.
On the website of "Large Canadian Roadside attractions", this painting is known as the "Indian Head - Rivière-du-Loup."
