The first in line is Ah Woa , a chinese goldminer, on his way to court to face a charge of not possessing a "residence ticket" . he is followed by a member of the police force , and at the rear Ah Woa's wife holding their child in her arms. All are wearing clothing of the 1850's, Ah Woa in a coolie suit, the policeman complete with hat and his wife in a long dress.
The statue is on the Glenelg Hwy in smythesdale
