The main structure of the hand-pump is a vertical wooden post that is made of four pieces of wood with the pipe running through the centre of them. The ground holds the wood together at the base and a wooden cap holds them together at the top. The handle is still in place with a spout, for delivering water, on the opposite face. There is a piece of metal on the edge of the spout for holding a bucket.
