This church replaced the original Immaculate Conception Church, an adobe church built by parishioners, that was located on Oak Street.

This new building was constructed in 1941 of locally quarried native limestone and contains beautiful slag glass windows with religious themes.

A Grotto Shrine of Mary, is to the right of the church entrance.
