The text below is taken from The Ottawa Citizen newspaper, 24 September 2005.

WATSON, Hilda Peacefully in Stoneridge Manor, Carleton Place, Ontario on Thursday, September 22, 2005 at the age of 101 years. Hilda Isabel Watson, beloved daughter of the late Edward Sinclair Watson and the late Mary Jane Ann Edgeley Hartley. Predeceased by a brother Hartley Watson and by sisters Florence Beagan, Lily Watson and May Stanzell. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside interment service on Wednesday, September 28 at 11 a.m. at Pinecrest Cemetery, Ottawa. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry Funeral Homes, 61 Lake Avenue West, Carleton Place.
