A lovely photo of a gopher TORTOISE is on the Cedar Point Preserve Kiosk sign, but it's identified as a gopher TORTISE.

In addition to misspelling the word TORTOISE, they also capitalized the species portion of the scientific name. They had it as "Gopherus Polyphemus" instead of "Gopherus polyphemus" -- a no no. They didn't capitalize the species name for the other wildlife and plants with photos so someone must not have been paying close attention when they added the gopher tortoise to the sign. And finally, they put a colon in between the genus and species portions of the scientific name for the Saint John's Wort, listing it as "Hypericum: perforatum" instead of just "Hypericum perforatum".
