A set of Secret Caverns murals are places along the roadside in central New York in an attempt to lure tourist to this attraction. Each billboard is in its own way a work of art. They are the creations of billboard artists Todd DelMarter, Kurt Piller, and Secret Caverns owner R.J. "Caveman" Mallery.
Illuminated and Enlightening is a very complex work of art by Todd DelMarter and Kurt Piller. The theme is evolution with various creatures progressing to the ultimate pinnacle of creation - dinosaur cow and cave man. Upon close examination the billboard contains many clever and not so clever puns. There is even an Archaeopteryx in the upper right side of the billboard.
