It is better to come here at sunset like I did so you can see the steam in the day and glow at night. This is also part of an earthcache. In order to get here you will have to pay a fee at the front entrance at the 11. Then go strait and you will see signs for the Jagger Museum. The Museum is open to the public. There is a lookout and it is amazing. Get your best night camera for this one because you will need it, the crater is a mile down below. This spot can get crowded so come early.
