Gooloogong is a village mostly in Cowra Shire, with some of it in the Forbes Shire due to being located mid way between the towns of Cowra and Forbes on the Lachlan Valley Way, and is known for its log cabin hall.
Devastated after a severe flood, little is left at that location as the town was re-established a little further, and higher to the east.
