A welcome sign greets travelers as they arrive from other areas at the south eastern entrance to the little town of Yeoval, New South Wales.
The sign pays homage to well-known Australian Poet, Banjo Patterson.

Yeoval is the childhood home of Andrew Barton 'Banjo' Paterson, born in 1864 near Orange; but spent the first 7 years of his life at Yeoval before the family moved to near Yass.
