The former Guildford Town Hall was built in the Art Deco style in 1937 and the 1900 council chambers alongside were reconstructed to match . In 1962 the Town of Guildford merged with the Town of Midland and the shire of Swan to form the City of Swan with offices in Midland, the building is now used for the Guildford Library.
