The Guildford Memory Gates or "Gunners Gates" were erected by the Guildford Council in memory of gunners and cavalrymen who trained at Guildford Camp during World War One.
On "Gunners Day", the second Sunday in August, each year since 1929 a parade is held from the War memorial through the gates to St Matthews Church to commemorate the ex-gunners and Lighthorsemen of Western Australia who trained here
