Peacefully on Wednesday, March 26, 1986, in her 101st year, Bertha Alexander, beloved wife of the late William Desjardin. Daughter of the late Ellen and David George Alexander. Dear mother of Doris (Mrs. John S. Hall) of Ottawa. Loving and caring grandmother of Ellen (Mrs. Robert Carnegie) and Sharon (Mrs. John Minter), both of Ottawa, and Dawn (Mrs. Craig LeMessurier) of Charlottetown, P.E.I. Beloved great-grandmother of John, Kenneth and Douglas Carnegie and Jennifer and Matthew Minter. Also survived by brother Cameron Alexander of Syracuse, N.Y. Friends may call at the Tubman Funeral Home, Westboro Chapel, 403 Richmond Road at Roosevelt, on Thursday from 7 to 9 and Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery. Those desiring may make Memorial Donations to Carleton Lodge, R.R. 2, Nepean, Ont., K2C 3H1.
