Numbaa is a now a collection of farms which have frontage to the Shoalhaven River. However in the 1860's it was a private township on Alexander Berry's Coolangatta Estate. The cemetery has graves dating from pre 1856 & is accessed via a laneway between two farms. It was restored in 1988 as part of Australia's Bi-centenary Celebrations. There are two signs at the entrance which list those who are buried here & a layout of the cemetery. There are only scattered graves visible, some upright, others collapsed.
You can drive down to the cemetery when the track is dry otherwise you will need to walk approx. 500 metres. You turn off Terrara Road at the farm Meadow Glen No. 441A & head straight down, leaving the gate as you find it.
