At her home, 310 Flora Street, Tuesday, Aug. 5, 1969, Mary Ann Cathcart, widow of Charles Smith, in her 102nd year, mother of Kenneth, Marnie, Mrs. Ethel Way, of Ottawa; Howard, of Sudbury, and Mrs. Clifford Nixon, of Manotick; also surviving, 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren. Resting Hulse and Playfair Central Chapel, 315 McLeod. Service Thursday, 3 p.m. Interment Pinecrest.

According to the Ontario marriage registration (1892 #002137), Mary Ann Cathcart (daughter of James and Mary Cathcart) married Charles Smith in Goulbourn, 4 May 1892.
