From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 5.4 miles. Turn right onto FR11, Green Ridge Road, and continue for 3.8 miles. Turn left onto FR1110, continue 1.9 miles to the corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: a firmly-bedded 12x11" stone; rising 3"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The following details were abstracted from FIELD NOTES of the survey of the Subdivisional Lines of Township 13 South Range 9 East, Willamette Meridian, Oregon, as surveyed by Thomas C. Judkins, U.S. Deputy Surveyor, under his Contract No. 421, dated September 23rd, 1881 p. 287 Run south between sections 26 and 27. Ascend Black Butte. At 40.00 chains, a point about 500 feet above last section corner, set a trap stone 14x12x12", 10" in the ground for the quarter section corner marked "1/4" on the W face. From which a 26" fir marked "1/4 S BT" bears N3°E, 29 links distant; a 14" tamarack marked "1/4 S BT" bears S63°W, 21 links distant; Compare the information in the FIELD NOTES with the present observations. The corner bears SSE, about 90' from the centerline of FR1110. Found a 44" diameter Douglas fir with an open blaze which bears N2°E, 19'0" distant. There is also a down and rotting tamarack at about the called bearing and distance.
