William H. Hill Park is a small neighborhood park with playground, pavilion and ball fields. It is by the Susquehanna River and you can see an old train bridge from here.

"William Hill of the village of Johnson City began his long public career in the area as postmaster of Lestershire in 1896. He soon became president of the new village and was editor and owner of the Lestershire Record newspaper by age 22. Known as “Billy” Hill, he served for many years as state senator and congressman, and as an advisor to governors such as Thomas E. Dewey, earning him the nickname of Mr. Republican. He also was the nephew of George F. Johnson, of EJ fame."
