A model aircraft flown by Bud Anderson hangs in the lobby of the Norcal flight school at the Lincoln Airport. He was a Triple Ace pilot of the 357th Fighter air combat unit (Europe).

The model is of the "Old Crow" a P-51 Mustang. Anderson went on to become an Air Force test pilot, and was inducted into the National Aviation Hall of Fame at Dayton, Ohio, on July 17, 2008.
He was born in 1922, and retired to Placer Co. Some are familiar with his Facebook page, aerial art, and models.
