In Boston's Back Bay neighborhood, near the Prudential Tower and next to the Christian Science Center, is the construction site for One Dalton.
The site is along Dalton St./West Newton Street, where Belvedire Street meets it.
The building will rise from a triangular lot. It will become a combination of the Four Seasons Hotel and Four Seasons Private Residences.
The ground was broken in January 2016. At the time of visit, the location was a pit, with trucks entering and leaving. The area was fenced off, with signs that stated that this was 'One Dalton,' 'Campion and Co.' was involved, and for more information, go to 'info@onedalton.com.'
According to an article, the building, when completed, will be 61 stories tall and stand 699 ft high. This would make it the third tallest building in New England, behind the Hancock Tower and the Prudential Tower. It is a $750 million project. It is expected to take 2 1/2 years to build.
