Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present quarter corner bears S88.9°W from WAYMARK WMQYQT, 2678' distant.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on galvanized steel pipe; rising 4"
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?: The monument is 12'8" W of a barbed wire fence. There is a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign mounted on a U-post which bears N, 28" distant. Found two ponderosa pines each with a healed blaze and an ATTENTION sign on the backside. One also has a yellow BEARING TREE tag.
What property is this mark defining?: section E of the corner is private property; else Deschutes National Forest
