This parish church is Grade II* listed and was built in the C14th and C15th of flint rubble with ashlar dressings and a plain tile roof. It has a fairly simple plan, nave and in-line chancel with a south-western porch-tower, the tower built above the south-west porch.
Just inside the south door is the font, an octagonal bowl mounted on a C19th stem with blind traceried panels. The bowl has recut flowers on the underside chamfer. The eight side-panels show the symbols of the four evangelists alternating with angels bearing crowns which are in a similar style to the wooden angel bosses in the roof. The heads appear to have been re-cut in the C17th, certainly on close inspection they do not appear to be of a similar age as the backgrounds, perhaps new cuttings on replacement inset stone.
