The map sits horizontally, on a 90cm high sandstone pillar, and overlooks the Long Reef golf course, and beaches to the north and south, with the unique Long Reef rock platform (with an Earthcache) to the east.
'Squeezed' between Fishermans Beach to the north, and Long Reef Beach, to the south, is the line coming in from the east, pointing to the Long Reef Point.
The map has been place here by the Warringah Shire Council.
* CAUTION * There is 'excessive' parking fees, unless you want you walk more than a kilometre each way - but, it is a nice walk.
