* CAUTION * Parking at the end of the road, past the golf course, is by paid ticket, $1/12 minutes, $5/hr, or maximum of $8 / day. (To be displayed on the car window.) It is a long walk if you don't want to pay the parking fee.
There are GREAT views, of the beaches north and south of here, and of course of the golf course.
The relief map has been placed on a 90cm high sandstone pillar, and depicts the Warringah Shire, with each of the Northern Beaches named.
It clearly shows the dissected 'plateau' nature of northern Sydney.
It starts at the northern end, with the Lighthouse on Barrenjoey Headland (and Palm Beach, 'home' of "Home and Away" TV series), to the south, with North Head, on the northern side of Port Jackson - Sydney's Harbour.
