The Coyote Springs Critical Area is a 51,000 acre area along the eastern edge of the Desert National Wildlife Range. It has been identified as an environmentally sensitive area. As such, activity in the area is very restricted, with off-road activities keep to the bare minimum.
Visitors are encouraged to stay on established trails, paths and roads.
Of note, shooting is allowed, but no hunting.
