Champ Libre est situé sur le sur le terrain d'un espace vert au coin de rue Milton et Boul. Notre-Dame. -Laval. -QC.
Une sculpture qui sort de l'Ordinaire et la première intervention d’art public de l'Artiste.
Œuvre
Champ libre propose de grandes plaques de cuivre soudées entre elles et disposées sous forme d’une porte entrouverte de 6'X10'. Ces plaques gravées sont habituellement utilisées pour l’impression des œuvres d’eau-forte. Plusieurs motifs abstraits, textures particulières et écritures éclectiques, s’harmonisent bien avec la diversité culturelle des habitants de Laval. L’artiste a modelé des espaces ouverts qui nous permettent de voir à travers l’œuvre. Nous sommes en présence d’une approche différente: le bidimensionnel associé à la gravure prend ici une forme sculpturale en utilisant l’espace de la même manière que le fait la sculpture.
Artiste
Lisa Tognon est bachelière en arts plastiques avec une majeure en gravure à l’UQAM . Cette artiste lavalloise est de plus en plus active dans le milieu artistique et ce, depuis 1994. Elle a fait partie d’importantes manifestations artistiques telles que la Biennale internationale d’estampe Miniare. Depuis 2000, Tognon est boursière du Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec pour la diffusion de sa création.

Artwork
Free field offers large copper plates welded together and arranged as a door ajar 6'X10' . These engraved plates are usually used for the printing of high-water works. Several abstract patterns, special textures and eclectic entries, align well with the cultural diversity of the people of Laval. The artist modeled open spaces that allow us to see through the work. We are dealing with a different approach: the two-dimensional associated with burning takes on a sculptural form using the space in the same way as the fact sculpture.
Artist
Lisa Tognon has a BA in Fine Arts with a major in printmaking at UQAM. Laval This artist is increasingly active in the arts and has been since 1994. It is part of important artistic events such as the International Biennial of Miniare print. Since 2000, the market is Tognon Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec for the dissemination of its creation.
