Built in 1804 by Walter Allen. It is a Federal 2 1/2 story building that sits on a raised basement structure. The inn served as a major stage coach stop between Providence RI and Worcester MA. Marquid de Lafayette was one of the notable guests at the inn. It has been converted to a private residence.
