The bell is central to the piece of art, and yet, the bell has no text on it. Unusually, the manufacturer's mark is on its top, not visible from the ground. It was made in Saint Louis.
There are no initials or plaque to signify the artist, but the interlocking display of the church bell and the crucifixion crosses was intended as a work of art.
