This is a small church with a cemetery that dates from the early settlement of the area. It has been restored as a private residence. The cemetery is still being used.

There are two cornerstones, one for the church in 1870 and one for the home in 2002. Jim and Toni Iacovelli have their name on the second stone. The address on the house is stated below, which is not quite the same as the Find a Grave listing.
There is a cemetery on a hill beside the church. The 179 graves are as early as 1823 and as late as 2016.

West Danby is near the Danby State Forest which was once settled, but was abandoned and replanted with 1.1 million trees by the CCC from 1934 to 1967.
