Kostel sv. Petra a Pavla se nachází v historické cásti obce v údolí rícky Libochuvky. Tato cást byla díky prírodním podmínkám izolována od novejší zástavby, která se nachází na kopci o neco výše. Zástavba kolem kostela si tedy víceméne zachovala puvodní stredoveké rozložení.
Kostel tvorí mohutná celní hranolová vež, k níž prilehá gotická lod s knežištem s operáky a radou goticky prolomených oken. Chrám je obklopen barokní zídkou se dvema brankami na západe i východe. Kolem chrámu byl puvodne hrbitov.
Ve ctvercovém chóru kostela, podpíraném nárožními operáky, je v interiéru rane gotická krížová klenba podpíraná v nábezích konzolkami (nekteré mají tvar lidské hlavy). Na východní stene záveru a na celní stene lodi prolomené triumfálním obloukem jsou zbytky nástenných maleb ze 14. století.

Church of St. Peter and St. Paul is located in the historic village in the valley of the river Libochuvky. This part was due to natural conditions, isolated from the newer buildings, located on a hill a little higher. Area around the church, then, more or less retained its original medieval layout.
The church consists of a massive front tower, which adjoins the Gothic nave with a chancel with Gothic buttresses and a number of the broken windows. The temple is surrounded by a wall with two Baroque gates in the west and east. Around the temple was originally a cemetery.
In a square chancel of the church, supporting corner backs, the interior early Gothic cross vault supported on consoles in runs (some are shaped like a human head). On the eastern end of the wall and the front wall of the broken ship triumphal arch are the remains of wall paintings from the 14th century.
