Originally located net to the Moffet Mill, was moved here when it was donated to the town of Lincoln. It was purchased by William Hannaway in 1901 to conduct blacksmithing business. The business was very successful until the automobile became prevalent in the 19200's. Hannaway closed the business still doing part time shoeing for the riding academy at the Butterfly Mill.
