Greg Kondos was an art instructor at Sacramento Community College and also Calif State University at Sacramento for over 30 years. His work is characterized by large scale, impressionist landscapes.

In the '90s, one of the airport terminals displayed a lengthy stained glass mural of the Sacramento River. The giclee for the city features an image of the American River which borders Rancho Cordova on the north.
The city also displays the work of new artists at regular intervals in its gallery hall. This would be their second year. No fee. Just business hours.
Gregory Kondos is recognized worldwide for his work.
