The Jelly Belly factory tour is in Fairfield, CA between Vallejo and Sacramento. The tour is free and very popular so there may be a wait of up to 45-60 minutes. Make sure to visit during the week to see the process in action.
You get a paper hat at the start of the tour. Most of the tour is behind glass and there are windows at ground level for the kids. At the end you get a bag of beans.
The tours end at 4pm but the shop stays open until 5pm. The gift shop has lots to offer from candy to puzzles to shirts.
